We are a family of 4 living on the Isle of Wight in the UK. This time last year we were in Cambodia, south east Asia. Whilst In Phnom Penh, we visited the brilliant β€œHelping Hand Cambodia” project and Beltei School. Based in the south of the City close to the Mekong river the project focuses on providing education and support for disadvantaged children and their families. The community live within a slum area built, quite literally, on a rubbish tip.

2020 has been a challenging year for many and in particular this Cambodian community. During this latest lockdown our two boys (8 and 6 years), came up with the idea of walking around the Isle of Wight to raise some funds to help support the charity. So, over a period of 11 days the four of us plan to walk the coastal perimeter, which is around 70 miles.

If you would like to sponsor us, any amount would be gratefully received with all money going directly to the charity. You can follow our progress on Instagram/Facebook stories @cedwells Ced, Marie, Ralph & Bear
