In the slums in which Helping Hand works, one of our main missions is to provide food for those who need it most. What money the families do have goes first to provide food, and shelter.
By offering to provide rice for a family every month it not only allows them to have more money to use for other things, such as medication and other urgent needs, but on top of that it shows in a concrete way that someone cares for them.

In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, many families struggle even more than before due to loss of any little income they previously had.
